Seeds and Weeds
The Bible frequently uses the image of plants or a garden to teach us about God's Kingdom. In James 1 the Word of God is compared to seeds that God plants in our life. We are like God's garden and God does the planting. But we respond by pulling out the "weeds" that can choke out the Word. Those weeds are sin. Listen as Pastor Chip shows that James is not just talking about "big" sins but the small ones like anger and the way we talk to one another.

    The Main Thing
In this message from Reformation Sunday, Pastor Chip teaches that the key idea of the Protestant Reformation was to keep the "main thing" the main thing. It was a return to biblical Christianity. But just like 500 years ago we still need to be focused on the main thing. The five "solas" of the Reformation continue to help us do that.

    Prayer That’s Heard
